3/23 Concerned Citizens of Woodberry community meeting minutes

23 in attendance

Next community meeting Tuesday May 11 6:30 pm WJZ-TV

Commitment to at least 6 meetings annually.    President is actively networking and attending meetings with Medfield, Hampden and Remington neighborhood associations.

6-month plan – Re-design and/or update CCOW website, develop mission statement, finalize Board job descriptions, provide timely news updates to the community, increase volunteer opportunities, expand email list; establish Feb as annual membership renewal.

Shiloh United Church installation & reception of Rev. Ryan Gholson

Shiloh United Church   -Chamber Music event     Friday, April 16   8 pm

3600 Parkdale owner applied and was denied a liquor license. There is no indication that current owner is planning improvements to the property. Next step will be for Zoning Variance.

It was recommended and agreed upon that a letter of appreciation be forwarded on behalf of the community to the fire department for their containment and follow through for the fire at  the Schenuit Building.

Phil Lambdin will represent the community at the Police Commander’s Community Meetings.

Eric Gasior will represent Woodberry for Loyola Stadium concerns – Multi-association committee reforming

Updates for the Meadow Garden, the Sign Garden and Druid Park Drive Park, were not available for this meeting.  The Board will provide as they become available.
