ND police meeting report
1-Police are working with stores to try to intervene early to prevent shoplifting. They are trying to especially protect pharmacies and other essential stores.
2-The Honda CRV has a sensor on the front grill that has been a significant source of theft. The Major reports that there are covers and transfer resistance screws and brackets that can be put in place to prevent their removal.
3-GVRS (gun violence reduction services)- A representative from the Mayor‘s office said that there is going to be two new sites in the Northern District.
4-A reminder to lock your car and to keep valuables out of sight in your car if possible. Consider getting motion detectors and lights in the front and rear of your home. Encourage mutual neighbor cooperation for packages and if you’re going to be away for a period of time.Stay safe and be kind
